GGNIVS Organized Freshers Party 2021

Under the patronage of Gujaranwala Khalsa Educational Council GGNIVS organized  a fresher’s party 2021 to welcome its budding flowers. It was an event bursting with zeal and ecstasy. The beginning was marked by lighting a lamp symbolic of lamp of knowledge. Director GGNIVS Prof. Manjit Singh Chhabra  and hon’ble judges of the event lent glitters to the occasion with their benign presence.  After the felicitations the event began with Shabad Recitation. With a formal note Director Prof. Manjit Singh Chhabra welcomed all the students. He expatiated on acknowledging self-worth and becoming self-reliant. He further added that participation in any field gives undeniable experience which is essential to acquire for growth.

The party was adorned  with the energetic performances of seniors which comprised of solo and duet songs, solo and group dance. The main fascination of the event was the fashion show which was theme based. All the new comers combatted for various titles. Abhijeet And Parneet Kaur were adjudged Mr. and Miss. Fresher respectively. Pratham and Veena were declared first runner up whereas Jyoti and Deepak got the tag of second  runner up. Other than that, tags were also based on Miss Cat walk, Mr. Handsome, best attire. Vansh was announced the winner in solo song whereas Abhijeet bagged the trophy in solo dance follwed by Veena and Jyoti  who won First prize in Duet dance. Anmol, Sarbjot and Yatin stood first in Group Dance.
The function reached its climax with prize distribution ceremony. Director Prof. Manjit Singh Chhabra applauded the diligence of students and also appreciated the toil of the staff . He further expounded upon the importance of co-curricular activities in student life. He fostered the idea that these activities help to bring out the best in students.
At the closure Bhangra left the audience awe struck. The event concluded with an elated note as students enjoyed open DJ.
